Swift and Beyoncé both embarked on world tours this year, the “Anti-Hero” singer released two album re-records this year, and Beyoncé became the most-awarded musician in Grammy history since 2023 began.
In October, when Swift premiered her concert film Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour in Los Angeles, Beyoncé came out to support her fellow musician. Now, Swift’s doing the same.
While she wasn’t able to attend the Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé premiere in L.A. on Saturday because she was on tour, Swift made her way to London for the world premiere of the “Cuff It” singer’s concert film across the pond.
Following Beyoncé’s special appearance at Swift’s Eras Tour debut, Swift posted a video of her and Beyoncé posing in the movie theater with popcorn and praised her for everything she’s accomplished in her career.
“I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would’ve been like without @beyonce‘s influence,” the “Bejeweled” singer-songwriter wrote. “The way she’s taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility. She’s been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairytale.”
Swift’s Eras Tour concert film surpassed $250 million at the global box office on Monday, with a domestic total of $178.2 million and $71.8 million overseas.
A Film by Beyoncé hits theaters Dec. 1 and will be playing in thousands of theaters across North America. It’s tracking to open between $20 million and $25 million domestically.
