In rom-com Irish Wish, Lohan plays Maddie, who is down on her luck when the love of her life gets engaged to her best friend. While in Ireland for the destination wedding, Maddie wishes she was the one marrying him and wakes up as the bride-to-be. The movie’s plot is reminiscent of Lohan’s other popular movies Just My Luck and Freaky Friday. In Just My Luck, Lohan starred alongside Chris Pine as the luckiest woman in New York City, who trades luck with an unfortunate janitor. Freaky Friday saw Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis as a daughter and mother who swap bodies.
Irish Wish, which was directed by Janeen Damian (Falling for Christmas) and written by Kirsten Hansen, will be available to stream on Netflix on March 1
