On July 26, Alejandro confirmed that he and the Spanish singer called off their engagement.
He began by writing on his social media how he never thought he’d have to make “public statements over something so private,” before revealing the the breakup.
“Yes, a few months ago, Rosi and I broke off our engagement,” Alejandro wrote, in part, in Spanish. “There are thousands of problems that can cause a breakup but, in our case, it was not because of infidelity or a third person. During this space that I am taking to take this all in, erroneous public allegations have emerged.”
He added that he could not remain silent and continue to have lies spread about the “truest love story that God has allowed me to live.”
