    Anita Anand’s broadcasting career commenced in the newsroom of Zee, a satellite channel. Her exceptional talent was soon recognized, leading to her receiving the Nazia Hassain Award in 2005 in the upcoming television broadcaster category. Over the years, Anand has presented numerous news and current affairs programs for BBC Radio and Television. Notably, she has been a significant presence on Radio 5 Live and currently hosts ‘Any Answers’ on Radio 4. On BBC2, she has also co-hosted ‘The Daily Politics Show’ and presented ‘Newsnight.’

Anand’s literary prowess was also recognized internationally, as she had the honor of opening the 2014 Kolkata Book Fair and appeared at the Jaipur Literature Festival in January 2015.
