    Alana Haim, Teyana Taylor have been cast alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in Paul Thomas Anderson’s new movie

     

    Haim, Taylor, Wood Harris, and Shayna McHayle are all joining DiCaprio, Sean Penn, and Regina Hall and Anderson’s new, still untitled movie.

    Haim previously worked with Anderson on 2021’s Licorice Pizza, which was nominated for Best Picture at the 94th Academy Awards and also starred Cooper Hoffman, Penn, Tom Waits, Bradley Cooper, and Benny Safdie.

     

     

    Taylor, meanwhile, is known for appearing in 2018’s The After Party, 2021’s Coming 2 America, 2023’s A Thousand and One, and the 2023 remake of White Men Can’t Jump. She also recently starred as Mary Magdalene in Jeymes Samuel’s The Book of Clarence, which is currently playing in United States theaters.

    Harris previously starred as Tony “Little Duke” Evers in the Creed franchise, while he’s also been in 2012’s Dredd, 2015’s Ant-Man, 2017’s Blade Runner 2049, and 2021’s Space Jam: A New Legacy.

    McHayle, whose professional stage name is Junglepussy, has starred in 2018’s Support the Girls and 2023’s The Perfect Find.

    Additionally, Chase Infiniti, who is not credited in any prior movies or television series, is joining Anderson’s movie, which currently is being referred to as “BC Project” for the time being.

    Anderson — known for making movies such as 1997’s Boogie Nights, 1999’s Magnolia, 2002’s Punch-Drunk Love, 2007’s There Will Be Blood, 2012’s The Master, 2014’s Inherent Vice, and 2017’s Phantom Thread — is producing his new movie with Sara Murphy.
