    Healing Through Creative Expression

In an exclusive interview, Monét shared how writing this book has provided a unique avenue for her to process feelings surrounding motherhood. She describes the book as a means of addressing her own experiences and the ‘mom guilt’ that comes with balancing her career and family life. “In a way, writing this book healed a portion of naturally occurring mom guilt for not being able to be in two places at once,” she explained.

    Connecting Families with Important Themes

Monét hopes that ‘Everywhere You Are’ will resonate with families facing separation anxiety. The book conveys a message of enduring love, ensuring children understand that distance does not diminish their connection with their parents. “I think for a lot of moms, we would spend every waking hour loving our children, but for the modern-day working woman, that isn’t realistic,” Monét commented. Her passion for storytelling and commitment to comforting families shine through in this project.

Victoria Monét’s journey into children’s literature not only reveals her dedication to her craft but also her profound understanding of modern motherhood. ‘Everywhere You Are’ promises to be a cherished addition to any family’s bookshelf when it is published by Putnam Books on June 24, 2025.
