According to the court documents, Turner and Jonas had a major argument on that day—which also happened to be his 34th birthday—which led to the “breakdown” of their four-year marriage. Turner, 27, claims that things “happened very suddenly” and that she learned of the divorce, which was filed by Jonas on September 5, “through the media.”

But only two days before the argument that ended everything, Turner and Jonas seemed to be doing just fine. The X-Men: Dark Phoenix actress attended one of her husband’s Jonas Brothers The Tour dates in New York City, and even posted about the outing on social media.
Turner shared a carousel of photos on Instagram at the time, the first of which shows her kissing her husband’s hand backstage. However, eagle-eyed fans are now realizing that the second photo of the bunch may have included a hint about Turner’s true feelings that night.
