Millie Bobby Brown: Leaving Bad Reviews for Subpar Service

On Jessie Ware’s podcast, Table Manners, the actor admitted that she definitely leaves bad reviews when she gets subpar service, prompting Ware to ask, “Millie, are you a Karen?”

“Here’s the thing,” said Brown. “My whole life is people criticizing me. So I’m gonna give it back to you sometimes.” In her 2023 Woman of the Year interview with Glamour, Brown recalled of her early brush with fame, “I was just penalized for overtalking and oversharing and being too loud.”

So you might be wondering, what are some times when the Stranger Things actor felt compelled to give a person some (anonymous) feedback online? Well, once, Brown said, she and her fiancé, Jake Bongiovi, were staying at a hotel, and they were asked to settle payment before the end of their stay. Another time, she said, she was in a store and was trying to help another customer, but the employee she approached was “just so unhelpful.” Said Brown, “And I was like, ‘Please, this isn’t even for me.’ So I left a review.”

At least Millie Bobby Brown was honest, confessing, “I am a Karen.”
