Emma Watson’s New Adventure
Emma Watson, well-known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series, has embarked on a new chapter in her life by joining the prestigious rowing team at Oxford University. Since beginning her graduate studies at Oxford in 2023, she has switched from the world of acting to the world of athletics, showcasing her versatility and commitment to personal growth.

Rowing at the Summer Eights Regatta
During the recent Summer Eights Regatta, Emma took on the role of coxswain for the Oxford rowing team, guiding her crew along the Thames River. Dressed in a white baseball hat and sunglasses, she coordinated her eight rowers with a mini mic while they donned vibrant purple face paint and matching unitards. This experience captures not only her athletic prowess but also her team spirit and leadership skills.

Balancing Academia and Public Appearances
Emma’s transition to rowing comes alongside her academic pursuits and selective public engagements. Prior to the regatta, she made headlines for her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival, after a 12-year hiatus. While her last public appearance was in 2013 during the promotion of The Bling Ring, Emma has focused on her studies at Brown University and now at Oxford, emphasizing the importance of education in her life.
In a December 2023 interview with British Vogue, she reflected on this period of her life, stating, “I’m so glad that I allowed things to be messy for a minute and to really allow myself to not know [what’s next].” With her rowing experience and academic achievements, Emma Watson continues to inspire fans with her dedication to personal and professional growth.
