On Wednesday, December 27, Jennifer Lopez was enjoying the beach in St. Barts, wearing a white string swimsuit that showed off her toned torso as she wrapped her legs in a pink towel. She protected her face from the sun with a straw hat and a pair of Valentino sunglasses and had on a few silver bracelets around her wrists. The star was also listening to something on a classic pair of Apple headphones connected to her phone.
The actress has maintained her impressive physique through pretty intense exercise regimens that impress everyone in her life, including her husband, Ben Affleck.
“Let me tell you something that’s gonna upset you,” Affleck joked. “Jennifer just eats whatever she wants. Whatever she wants. She eats cookies, ice cream, everything.”
Barrymore asked if this was because of her workout routine.
“She works out,” The Batman star clarified. “I work out too but I don’t magically appear to be 20 years old, you know what I mean, with perfect skin and the whole thing.”
“There’s no taking away from the work ethic. The work ethic is real, the discipline is real, but also the superhuman thing is real. She’s the most gorgeous woman in the world, she looks spectacular.”
Lopez recently talked about how “fitness is a very important part” of her life in an interview.
“I think there’s a positive correlation between exercise and mental health,” she said. “When you find a good balance through determination and focus, we’re naturally pushing to be the best version of ourselves.”
She added that she tries to work out “first thing in the morning,” explaining, “I try to make good choices and balance my time.”
