Sydney Sweeney has addressed claims that she was objectified in a Rolling Stones’ music video for “Angry,” the lead single off their latest album “Hackney Diamonds.”

Sweeney opened up about her experience filming the video, which featured her rocking out in a convertible while wearing a black corset and black leather pants with star-shaped cut-outs.
“I felt hot,” the 26-year-old actor told Glamour UK, adding that she picked her own outfit from the racks of clothes. “I felt so good in it.”

The “Euphoria” star went on to explain that she feels empowered by “embracing” the body that she has.

Sweeney added that starring in The Rolling Stones video was “cool and iconic” and something she never expected she’d get to do in her career.

“I mean, who else gets to roll around on the top of a convertible driving down Sunset Boulevard with police escorts?” she continued.

Sweeney’s comments come after Damon Albarn — the frontman of English rock band Blur and the musician behind virtual band Gorillaz — publicly slammed the music video for the way it portrayed her.

“I listened to their new song and watched this horrible music video showing them at different stages of their lives on billboards. And this young woman objectified,” Albarn told French magazine Les Inrockuptibles, when asked about The Stones’ new album.

Meanwhile, in a separate interview with “Live with Kelly and Mark,” Sweeney says that her family supported her appearance in video.

“I brought my mom, she got to meet them,” the “White Lotus” star said. “I think this might be the coolest thing I’ve ever done in my family’s eyes.”
