The ‘Stranger Things’ star opened up about her fiancé — and new debut novel — on ‘Good Morning America’ Thursday morning

Millie Bobby Brown is preparing for her most important role yet… as a bride!

The Stranger Things star, 19, is in the midst of planning for her wedding day with fiancé Jake Bongiovi, 21, and as she told Good Morning America on Thursday, it’s all been “really exciting.”

“It’s such an amazing part of my life so far,” Brown said while promoting her debut novel Nineteen Steps. “And just being able to do it with someone makes it even better.”

Without sharing much else about her big day, Brown also opened up to GMA about life with Bongiovi — the son of rock frontman Jon Bon Jovi.

Reflecting on a viral video of her future husband doing her makeup (a.k.a. Bongiovi’s debut on her makeup YouTube channel Florence By Mills), Brown revealed that she was pretty impressed with how things turned out.

“I’m so used to teaching him all things skin care, and then when I put the makeup brush in his hand I was really hesitant,” she said of Bongiovi, who got engaged to the actress in April. “But I think he did a good job.”

Apparently the hosts of the ABC morning show thought he did a good job too, or at least could see how happy the two looked, as they provided Brown with a little surprise. In honor of her engagement, the actress was presented with a custom cheese plate, complete with both her and her fiancé’s initials and the Good Morning America logo printed on the front.
